EXperimental Computing Facility - Founded in 1986, the EXperimental Computing Facility is an undergraduate computing-interest organization (in contrast to the Open Computing Facility and the Computer Science Undergraduate Association, which support most of the general-interest computing desires of the UC Berkeley campus). As such, the eXperimental Computing Facility stands as a focus for a small group of computer-scientists uniquely interested in computer science.

Computing - Originally, the word computing was synonymous with counting and calculating, and a science that deals with the original sense of computing mathematical calculations. "Computing" has come to mean the operation and usage of computing machines, the electrical processes carried out within the computing hardware itself, and the theoretical concepts governing them (computer science).

History of computing - The history of computing is longer than the history of computing hardware and modern computing technology and includes the history of methods intended for pen and paper or for chalk and slate, with or without the aid of tables. The timeline of computing presents a summary list of major developments in computing by date.

Creative Computing - Creative Computing was one of the earliest magazines covering the microcomputer revolution. Published from 1974 until 1985, Creative Computing covered the whole spectrum of hobbyist/home/personal computing in a more accessible format than the rather technically-oriented BYTE.
